Mass Goodness

Lots of good stuff going down today. First and foremost, I’m done with the Messiah concert. There were a TON of people there last night. I have never seen the theatre that full before, ever. We got started almost 15 minutes late because we were trying to pack people in. I wore a skirt and hose for the first time in probably a year. I got compliments, and even got told no one would’ve know I was wearing hose if I hadn’t said anything. Which means they thought my legs really looked that good! And that tan! :D Confidence booster WIN! And thanks especially to Anna, who took me shopping last minute to find clothes for this thing. I got the skirt, a black turtleneck with sparkly thread all through, and a faux suede browncoat all together for less than $20. Plus I got paid last night, which always, always helps.

Later today I’ve got a production meeting for the next show I’m doing. I’m feeling pretty good so far about the way I’m handling things on this one. I still don’t think I’ve got the whole thing down, but I feel pretty in control, and I don’t think there’s really anything I’ve dropped the ball on, which has happened before. This will probably be one of my most challenging management experiences, so wish me luck.

After the meeting I’m headed down to 5600 south to meet with a woman who teaches voice lessons. We’ll see how that goes.

My kitchen floor is mopped, the sink is mostly empty of dishes, and I have clean clothes to wear. Life is pretty freaking awesome at the moment! Hope you all are having as good a time as I am.

Congrats on closing The Messiah! Though, I’m not exactly surprised the theater got as packed as it did. You should have one of your roomies take some pics of your outfit!
