Wow. It’s way past time since I should have updated last. I actually had to go back and read over some old entries to figure out what I talked about. And to think I had the goal of doing this daily. Lol.
Oddly enough, I haven’t had a whole lot happen since the last time I wrote. I had a great time for my birthday. Went swimming with TallMan & Co, had dinner at Paradise, then wandered the mall with Ki and RM (Roommate). Then I had dinner the next day with my family, and some of the cousins. In an amazing turn of events, BF was actually invited to attend, but he was crazy tired, so he didn’t actually come along. I got a $15 gift card to Starbucks from TallMan & Co, and $60 gift card to iTunes from the fam. Dr. Horrible is all mine! Mine I say! And I’ve picked up a bunch of other stuff. I also got an absolutely MASSIVE TOME of Shakespeare. And the fourth issue of Elfquest. The really really pretty ones. It should be here soon. I’m excited. If I could, I’d reach through the pixels and shake you just to show you how much.
I’m still at Gamestop, and starting next week I’ll be stage managing Always… Patsy Cline. I’m looking forward to the money, and I know it’ll be a good time, but there’s always the repetetive nature of any show that I’m definitely not looking forward to.
In other news, I ran all the way around the park again. Second time. For those who don’t know, it’s just shy of a mile and a half. It’s also currently the record for how far I can go without keeling over. I’ve changed my mind on a lot of things when it comes to running. (Well, feel free to read ‘running’ as ‘jogging’ at any point throughout this blog. I barely pass people walking fast.) First off, when you really start to break through barriers, there’s no better feeling. And when you’re doing the same track time after time, the progress is really visible. When I started, I couldn’t even go an eighth of a mile without having to drop back to walk. It was a quick ramp up from breathing normally to gasping for air. Now I can hit an rhythm, feet pounding, hearing nothing but the air passing through my nose and mouth. Even better is the feeling after getting done. Total euphoria. Yummy.
